TOPICS:
The main topics of the conference will include drilling innovation, blasting approach to Industry 4.0, new technologies applied to blasting, application and results of new products, drilling and blasting design techniques, new modeling software and other applications, safety applied to drilling and blasting, environment (vibrations, airblast, gases, dust, flyrock), energy efficiency, regulations, industry challenges and the added value of blasting, effects of sustainable blasting with the mining process, from a geotechnical perspective and the implications of blasting in the conversion of open pit mining to underground mining.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER:
His research includes developments in alternative explosives free of ammonium nitrate; fragmentation and blasting modeling techniques, today incorporated into commercial software. He currently leads a research group focused on advanced preconditioning and fragmentation methods for future low-impact mineral extraction techniques.
Mr Onederra workshop will be: “Technology in explosives and blasting engineering: impact of applied R&D and future challenges”
